Title: Hybrid of Agile and Critical Chain Project Management
Reduction of Project lead times and almost a quadruplication of throughput with Agile and Critical Chain Project Management
Endress + Hauser had already invested a lot in processes, methods and training in a classical and Agile environment over the past years. However, it was necessary to significantly improve its ability to innovate, by increasing the project throughput and reduction of project lead times.
Through the use of Critical Chain Project Management in R & D, Endress + Hauser could integrate the agile methods and double the project throughput in already a very short time. Project lead times reduced by approx. 25% and reliability improved significantly at the same time. This was achieved without adding additional resources.
